(TSXV: GPV) (OTCQX: GPVRF) (“GreenPower”) announces it is the zero-emission transportation partner and an exhibitor with the Synapse Type D all-electric school bus at the Green California Schools and Community Colleges Summit and Exposition at the Pasadena Convention Center October 29-30, 2018.

The Synapse Type D all-electric school bus that will be on display at the Expo is purpose-built with seating for 72 Kindergarten to grade 6 students and has a range of over 100 miles on a single charge. The Synapse school bus can be configured for up to 90 students with Level 2 on-board charging or compatible with Level 3 DC fast charge system.

Ryne Shetterly, VP, Sales and Marketing for GreenPower, will be on the EV Fleet Forum panel from 12:15PM to 2PM on October 29, which will focus on current mandates and funding for fleet electrification. The state has targeted diesel vehicles as priorities for replacement, as much because of the health hazards associated with their emissions as to reduce greenhouse gases. Hundreds of millions of dollars are now available to support electric bus purchases and charging infrastructure.

GreenPower staff will be on hand with the Synapse Type D all-electric school bus at booth 429.
